6 Months...

As Riley approaches 6 months, I have realized I have not updated her blog...wow...as I look back at her pictures...she has grown so much in the last 2 months. She is such a happy baby and 'bright eyes' as she is known by family...is so observant and loves to be outdoors.

She also loves to go swimming, leisure strollers around the neighborhood and such chilling in the grass...


This is pretty much how she is most of the time...she is trying to crawl...not quite yet, but boy can she stick her booty in the air.

The johnny jumper is a fun toy for her too as she thinks she is so big that she can walk...she gets bored with it after about 20 minutes though and back to the 'gym' to play ....

Shawn and I are so thankful to have her in our lives...she is pure joy...even at 5:00 in the morning...we believe she has a mutant gene as mom and dad are definitely not morning people...however, she is teaching how to be...I mean, come on, how can you resist that smiling face...she is always happy to see you...

4th of July weekend...

We had a great 4th of July weekend...

All sorts of adventures...

We started off by going to the Goshen 1st Fridays. So much stuff for her to look at. We were appreciative the rain held off. As you can see...she had a blast!

Saturday was bit more relaxed...we were supposed to go to a cookout, but only Shawn made it...Some little girl was napping. We did however get to go to the Old Bag Factory earlier that day to support Rolling Scones...AWESOME!
I seem to get a lot of pictures of her sleeping...when she is awake...she loves to eat her hands, which makes it harder for pictures...
She crosses her feet a lot when she sleeps...

Sunday we were able to get outside for a bit in between nap times.
She loves to help Mom and Dad play disc golf! Baugo was a great place to visit and a beautiful day as well..

The actual day of the 4th...we were able to make it to a cookout. Thanks to Renee for hosting and bringing a great group of people together!

Thankfully we were able to spend a few hours with friends before nap time again!

Then rounded the weekend out with night two of working at the Cove...

Father's Day...

We had a great 1st Father's Day...We started out having breakfast with Papa and Daddy...Mayberry...Papa's favorite spot! We later enjoyed naps..everyone in the fam took naps...for about 4 hours. That is what Daddy wanted to do on Father's day... We watched movies too. Unfortunately, I don't have any new pictures to post and the video I took...won't post. Hope all the fathers out there had a great day too!

Riley and I ventured with Aunt Stephy, Uncle Chad and Cousin Aidan down to Indy to visit Auntie Meg, Uncle Jason and Cousins...Waverly, Windsor and Quinn...

Riley was introduced to TC, MI...where mommy had lived for close to 8 years and met so many wonderful people. It is always so hard to do everything in just a weekend...but I was thankful to have been able to catch up and introduce Riley (and Shawn) to as many friends (and places) as I did!
